Linda Duval McAllisterJune 9, 1953 ~ July 3, 2017 (age 64)
Conway, SC — Linda Duval McAllister sadly passed away on July 3 at the age of 64.
From a young age, Mrs. McAllister was always a high energy person who loved competition, loud music and the water. While still in high school, she was a standout volleyball player and the only female on her high school baseball team in Montreal, Canada before moving to Virginia Beach, VA.
As a young woman she relocated to Myrtle Beach in the early 1980's, quickly becoming what we know as "Lucky Linda". She was a tremendous time share sales person along Myrtle Beach, ultimately opening her own brokerage firm during the 1990's. The success of the brokerage firm and her wallpapering business gave the McAllister's time to enjoy the outdoors on their Waccamaw River property, sharing their love of nature with their family and friends, becoming the "duck lady". Trading her high heels in for her flip flops! Since her husband's death three years ago, Mrs. McAllister has been active with her local church, "loved" by local duck hunters and preparing for yet another opportunity in real estate.
Linda's favorite verse is Psalm 23, 'I love you forever.'
She loved grilling out, making homemade pizza, listening to her loud music while playing the spoons, with a wonderful smile that could light up a room. Every day is Holiday!
Mrs. McAllister is preceded in death by her husband, Gary. She is survived by two children: Dara and Bo, five grandchildren, one great grandchild, two dogs, 20 ducks and countless loving friends.
The family will be planning a private celebration of life for Linda at a later date.
