Rita Carol Wilson (Cashell), 85, of Myrtle Beach, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great – grandma, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2017 in her home surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born November 29, 1931 in New Kensington, Pennsylvania to the late Harry “Wish” and Jean Cashell (Smith).
Rita is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Charles E. Wilson; daughters Virginia "Terry" (Roy Jr) Ford, Darrell Wilson and Carol (Harry Jr) Hall, all of Myrtle Beach; her six grandchildren, David Wilson, Jaime (Floyd Jr) McKenna, Danielle Wilson, Jennifer (Bruce Jr) Wilson - Bair, James (Jackie) Shopes II and Thomas (Chelsea) Ford; her ten great – grandchildren, Michael, Joseph, Aaron, Kayla, Floyd III, Harley, Chance, Bruce III, Estelle and Myles; and her three sisters, Janet Tiraboschi and Barbara “Chookie” Galli, both of Myrtle Beach, and Martha Ann Cashell of Akron, Ohio.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Charles E. Wilson Jr. who died on April 5, 1998; her sister Virginia “Mickey” Davis who died on January 1, 2016; and her stepmother Marie Cashell who died on June 15, 2003.
Rita was very loving, generous, and compassionate and would do anything for anyone. She had a beautiful heart. She was also a highly evolved spiritual person, she lived by the golden rule. She was very much loved for the wonderful lady she was.
