Mr. Anthony “Tony” Carmen Trignano, 95 passed away Thursday, December 5, 2019 at his residence.
Mr. Trignano was born July 9, 1924 in Nutley, Essex, New Jersey. He was the son of the late William “Bill” Liberto Trignano and the late Angelina Rosina “Rose” Covino Trignano. Mr. Trignano had been a resident of Conway for more than 30 years.
Mr. Trignano served in the US Army during WWII and retired after 20 years of service. He later retired from Roche Pharmaceutical Company. He was a previous member of the Butler Pistol Team and competed in the National Pistol Championship. He was an avid marksman.
Survivors include his wife of almost 5 years, Bertha, two granddaughters, Sarah Trignano of New York and Rachel Trignano of Seattle; brothers, Ralph Trignano(Alice) of Conway and Joseph Trignano of New Jersey.
Mr. Trignano was predeceased by his first wife of 48 years, Lucille; son, Mark; sisters, Adeline, Maddalena and Maria; brothers, Frank, Carmen, and Nicholas.
Mr. Trignano was a loving, compassionate, and generous man who will be truly missed.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 7 from 4:00-6:00 at his residence located at 203 Cedar Ridge Lane, Conway.
Services will be held at SW Brown and Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St, Nutley NJ 07110, Saturday December 21 at 10:30am, the family will receive friends at 9:30am, followed immediately by internment at Glendale Cemetery at 28 Hoover Ave, Bloomfield NJ 07003.
