Cesar Noel Irizarry, 94, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 10th, 2018 at Inlet Coastal Resort in Murrells' Inlet, SC.
Cesar was born August 15th, 1923 in Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico a son of the late Juan and Leonor Maria (Perez) Irizarry.
Survivors include his wife Marguerite (Calnan) Irizarry; brother in law Thomas Calnan; nieces Candy Caponegro, Judith Ciaccia, and Debra Mosca; nephew Thomas Calnan Jr.; many great nieces and nephews; special friends Judy DePhillips, and Dina Gallo; also the Surfside Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses who were like another family to him.
Cesar was never idle, though legally blind all of his adult life. He worked as a physical therapist until retirement. He also accomplished much as a minister of Jehovah’s Witnesses where he spent countless hours helping people learn the Bible in both English and Spanish. He was known for his wit, humor, and a sunny spirit. Cesar will be missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held Saturday February 17th, 2018 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Holmestown Road Myrtle Beach, SC at 3:00pm.
